About Victoria
I am the seventh of eleven children. None of us is in prison yet. Maybe tomorrow. You never know…
I’m married. Happily. Most of the time. He is my heart, my best friend, my techno-stud, super rock star, and my worst critic although he refers to it as life coaching.
I have two incredible daughters. They shine distinctly but share spirits that are loving, open, courageous, smart, funny, creative and more. I am so happy I was chosen to be their mom.
I love sunshine. Books. Music. Running. Flowers. Newly washed sheets. Trees. Seashells. Hiking in the mountains. walking around the block. Hot tubs. Laughing. Wine. Cycling. Kayaking. Earrings. Friends. A blank journal. Hot bread. Yoga. New clothes. Cards. I really like greeting cards. Birds. Moon rise. Sunsets. Beaches. Bags. Quotes. Harmonies. Window seats. Wii. And laughing once again. Love to laugh.
I know. It’s a lot. A ridiculously long list that I still want to add to but am holding back. Just a little.
I like simple things but am not, as some might claim, a simpleton.
I’m terribly sarcastic but working on it.
I believe in choosing hope even when the odds are against you. Especially when the odds are against you. Screw the odds. Go for it.
I suffer from gratitude attacks on a daily basis…maybe even hourly.
TIVO has changed my life. Not necessarily for the better since I can never truly “miss” the shows I like.
I am not particularly interesting but find life very interesting.
I like to write, I like to wrestle things out on a page. Especially spiritual things. I believe in love. I believe in God, Jesus and a Holy Spirit who claims all of us.
I believe dogs are as necessary as water. Seriously.
I am really happy to be alive. I had leukemia once. My brother saved my life. And my husband. My sisters, brothers, mom, friends and the most powerful motivator of all, my sweet daughters. Along with the Fred Hutchinson Center for Cancer Research. And blood donors. Arsenic. God’s Grace. Above all, grace. Mighty grace.
I don’t think anything that I write will land me in prison. Not sure.
I’ll keep you posted.
